Let’s start by understanding what a sitemap actually is.
According to Google, a sitemap is a file where you can list the web pages of your site to tell Google and other search engines about the organization of your site content. Search engine web crawlers like Googlebot read this file to more intelligently crawl your site.
Luckily, you do not need to worry about creating this yourself. Bookmark automatically generates a sitemap.xml file for you that contains links to all of your website’s pages and content.
So all you need to know is where to find your sitemap, how to verify your site, and then how to submit your sitemap to Google.
To start, login to your Bookmark account, and select the website you would like to edit. Then, click the Site button in your website builder sidebar.
Then click SEO.
Scroll down to find the website sitemap options. Here is where you can view the Bookmark-generated sitemap, or, add your own custom sitemap.
To upload your own sitemap click the 'Choose File' button. Once your file has been uploaded click the 'Save Settings' button at the bottom of the SEO page to save the changes.
